I thought the same thing watching the game then I realized thats how bad we must look to the rest of the country when we are on TV. Its apparent that sharing stadiums with NFL teams is a failed model. Why do we think we are any different? Is anybody having success with this scenario? (Temple, Pitt, Miami....)

Miami did ok when they shared the Orange Bowl the Dolphins. One could argue they've had some success in the past both winning and drawing a crowd.
