ctbrown - Totally agree that part sucks big time. The person speaking during the band pregame show needs to stop.

Also while we are talking about the band, why is there no Mic on the Band? I sit directly acrossed from them and can hear them, however cant hear them during halftime. A few years ago sat down by the USF Tunnel and couldnt hear the band at all.

They did get rid of the Ohhhh that Hot now. Haven't heard it the two games so far.

So I brought an out of town friend to the game last night.... it was his first ever live college football game... he lives on the east coast so he's not too familiar with our school.

We're waiting for the video intro and team run out and he turns to me and says... "Who are the kids in the karate outfits?" I kid you not I almost fell out of my chair... and I have 5 witnesses to verify that it happened.

Kinda OT, but didn't see anyone mention that Nevada does the same thing, but calls it the Running of the Wolves. I think it's their entire senior class and they run diagonally all the way across the field and up the steps into the student section.

it was the entire freshman class

and it was cool

i think it was their first time doing it

it gets freshman involved

that is how you start a tradition

Running of the Bulls is an embarrassment... in the real running of the Bulls, the Bulls chase the runners into a stadium where the Bulls are then slaughtered one by one by a gay dude in a leotard that wears a cape...

This needs to die...
