Production of running backs depends on the offensive line.

Fire is hot, water is wet.

If Murray gets into better shape, he is that every down back. My only knock on the guy is his stamina and speed, but those things can be improved upon.

I see Holtz using Murray and Lamar in tandem. Bring in Lamar for speed and specialty plays. Would really like to see them open up the playbook and use some wildcat formation. We finally have the right players ready for that.

I see BJ as being the leading runner. With the depth we have at WR and I feel very good talent this team should be a pass first and second and third. Only using the run to keep the D honest. If your pass game is good it will open up the run game for guys like Lamar to have some big ones. Just my thoughts.

I am looking forward to see what Lamar will do back at rb this year. The main concern a couple of years ago with him was his light weight and ball handling skills when hit. Now that he has gained muscle weight, has worked on his ball control, and with his already explosive capabilities, I am very exciting to see him play and think he will be a great asset in the backfield.
