When the recently built softball stadium is completely filled on a more consistent basis. What was our avg attendance this season before the Hofstra series? I went to most of the games this year and I feel that not including the hofstra series your looking at an average of about 1000ish if that. We did not pack the stadium all too much out side of the florida game and the hofstra series. Plus you have to take into account that a lot of their games were mid week at about 5pm. Hard to draw a crowd at that time.

Probably toward the end of the year attendance was a bit more consistent in the thousand ball park. Guess we had more low attendance games to start the year than what I remember. Looking at the schedule, It appears the lull in attendance occurred during March Madness. That said.... 1) Hofstra (game 1) - 1561 2) Hofstra (game 2) - 1544 3) Hofstra (game 3) - 1544 4) Florida - 1261 5) Florida State - 764 30) Providence (game 1) - 310 (Wednesday April 9th @ 1:00) 31) Bethune Cookman - 309 (Wednesday April 25 @ 5:00) 32) Penn State - 293 (Friday March 9th @ 2:00) 33) UMass - 247 (Monday March 19th @ 6:00, first day back from spring break) 34) Virginia Tech - 215 (Friday March 9th @ 4:30) You can clearly see the worst attended games were afternoon weekday games. Fine the way it is. FALSE We are in Florida.. We can do better. Arizona averaged 2,266 per game in 2010 (latest year I can find with complete info) We MUST expand to 2500!!! I was kidding by the way... On an interesting note... we were #11 that year (970/game.) Pretty impressive. Hope we can surpass that next year. But I do agree.. Its hard to be able to get to a midweek game at 5:
