W+3,   I do concur RayJ is a pretty sweet stadium (with Beer) but people simply hate paying anything to Mr. Glazer and also complain that we (BULLS) need a little more Green & Gold recognition at the site itself... why not put our logo up somewhere so that traffic could see it? We don't even get many billboards that advertise for us (during the season).    :

I also concur with your statement mutt, but you can't justify spending 100+ million bucks on what would be an inferior stadium just because it would have more green & gold paint.

Well Wild Wild West, you may be right and if we ever build an on campus stadium, I hope you are.  

USF is a state school and Florida governments, both state and local, have a history of ending up footing the bill for these type of projects (for examples look at RJS and Tropicana Field).

Whether initially or eventually, taxpayers will likely have to pick up the tab at some point.

NOT TRUE!  That was my whole point.  Tax payers WILL pay for a new stadium for the bucs.

Tax payers did NOT pay for our athletic ctr.  Tax payers will NOT be paying for our recently approved upgrades and tax payers will NOT pay for a USF stadium!
