Booked flight into Sacramento. Staying in South Lake Tahoe for some gambling, golfing, hiking, etc. Hope to see some fellow Bulls at the casinos!

Flying into Reno the Tuesday and then out the evening after the game.

Planning on going to the Lake Tahoe area during the week then back to Reno to stay there the night before the game. Looking at hotels for the Friday in Reno, looks like Circus Circus is the cheapest and seems well situated. Has anyone been out that way? any suggestions on places to stay in the Tahoe area?

Anyone doing the Alumni tailgate? seems like pretty good value considering its in the stadium so there is free food for 2 hours before and for the first half

I booked a place that is walking distance to Harvey's Casino as well as the beach, Seven Seas Inn at Tahoe from Thursday to Sunday. I think the average per night was like $73 for two queens. Ordinarily I'd be kind of leery about the price, but it gets rave reviews on TripAdvisor.com, and the users rate the place the #4 (out of 67) hotel in the South Lake Tahoe area, so can't be that bad.

We were thinking about doing the Alumni Tailgate, but we will probably hit a sports bar that we found that is open early so we can watch the noon kickoff east coast games.

Just booked the 3 Peaks Resort and Beach Club in South lake Tahoe from the Tuesday - Friday for $59 a night, looks like it has decent reviews, Circus Circus in Reno for the Friday night.

Which Sports Bar is it that is open early? might make a better option than the tailgate

Is this the first time you will see USF out west or were you at the San Diego State game? I am hoping to make it the next time USF plays in San Diego.

Appropriately, the bar is called Bully's.
