You guys don't even know the guy and you're already passing judgement on him.  If the coaches think he's worth a look, I see know harm in it.

especially if there's no scholarship being lost on him. If he can't make the grade we'll know soon enough.  No harm no foul.

I'm willing to let the coaches decide if he can, "bring something to the table."

scbull- why can't we give our opinons?

You can give your opinion all you want.  What are you basing your opinion on?  The fact that he had some bad grades and worked hard to get it back together?  Do you remember our safety play last season?  If he can help, why not let him?

He does bring something to the table: depth and experience at the safety position.

IMO, he'll struggle to make the depth chart in 2005 especially w/o the benefit of spring.  I will be surprised if he's a factor for the Bulls before the 5th game.

He certainly can run:

runs 4.4 in the 40 . . . outstanding sprinter that helped the Miami Norland 4x100 relay to a second-place finish in the 2000 state meet . . . ran a personal best 10.6 in the 100 . .
