UF releases CB Josh Shaw and DE Lynden Trail

Lynden Trail and Josh Shaw were granted releases today from UF. USF could use both guys but I think our best bet is Lynden Trail who's from Florida. Joshua Shaw is from Palmdale, Cali

Shaw, of Palmdale, Calif. appeared in 10 games this season and had 22 tackles. He missed the Furman game when he went home that week to be near his ailing grandfather, whom Muschamp said Shaw was extremely close to.

“I have enjoyed my time at Florida but I feel like I need to be closer to my family right now,” Shaw said in a statement. “This is not a football decision, this is a family decision. I need to be with my family.”

Hopefully Lynden has matured and separated himself from the Swamp City Bird Gang these past 2 years (article posted back in 2009)
