Yup I agree with this But also you can't blitz every down and someone has to be able to make some kind of an impact upfront without a blitz. The DL is under performing and Snyder isn't dictating the tempo of the game enough with his play call. The front 7 has really under performed so far this season regardless of what Snyder has called.

no you can't blitz every down but you need to get pressure in big situations. third and 15 from our 20 and we rush 3. gives him 6-7 seconds to find one on one coverage and make a throw. TD. we wonder why we give up 3rd and longs all the time. it's a perfect time to blitz but we always fall back into prevent.
