It isn't $7mil up front, its $500k up front and then TV fees for the next five years.  That eases the pain a bit.  I think they jump, and quickly.  The expansion fires in the upper conferences are cooling quickly, aided by BC's AD throwing a big ol' bucket of cold water on things.  I wonder how long he'll have his job.
