Point being, if Severino couldn't beat out Julmiste I hope that he can't beat out Hill/Grothe/Denson.   Denson #5 QB coming out of HS, Hill #9 QB coming out of HS and Grothe runner up for Mr. Football in the state.

Very good point but you just never know whn someone will blossom ......... Tom Brady couldn't beat out Griese at Michigan (I think that's right, isnt it??)

Personally I don't see Severino getting the nod.  As for Brady I believe he started 2 yrs there so being a backup before then is no big deal.  Plus, I thought with Griese they went undefeated his senior year.

he set records at tampa jesuit for wins by a starting q-b?   the team lost 2 regular season games in his 3 years at jesuit !

He got into one game and handed teh ball off then threw a pick. DOn't remember which game it was, but i remember him coming in.

He only mentioned Severino out of courtesy.  Isnt he a walk-on.  Regarding Hill getting some playing time even if he doesnt win the starting job.  I'm sure he will get some time in against FAMU and fau/ou/oc in the second half when we are way ahead.
