What will make Skip feel worse?

I think on a personal level, it will be weird for Skip if ECU gets promoted.

I don't think Skip will feel worse if BE loses AQ status, because there are plenty of AQ schools that would love to have him.

Also, we don't know how much he loves his cat.

Why would Skip feel bad if ECU joined the Big East?  I bet he would be ecstatic for the University and its fans.  Coaching changes happen.

He'd feel the worse if the Big East lost AQ status, but it's not happening any time soon.  The East will pull through with TCU, WVU, and USF.

Who would want to get up and abandon their post more, Al Golden if he gets USC or worse penalties in UM or Skip Holtz if USF gets demoted to a Non AQ conference?

Golden might have a rough 3 years with sanctions but USF bumped down to Non AQ would set USF athletics back years.

I agree that we lose skip if we lose AQ. However, Skip is a caring person and he had to leave ECU and its fans behind as a career move. He will feel worse, especially as someone already mentioned, if ECU beats us their first year in the conference.
