On a side note... why is Jonny Stanton getting quite the coverage he is on this show? Lets chart the amount of times they mentioned his name over AW in the 2 hours of televised elite 11....

It's the Tebow effect .... Plus, wasn't he #1 out of the 11 for a couple of days?

really amazing the entire show was about Stanton, Brown, Hackenberg 80% of camera shots and comments were those three. Not a good job in my opinion didn't see enough of AW to justify for the public him winning MVP. Almost seemed like he was an honorable mention ....IMO

I saw that and thought something... but didn't want it to be true... I'll just leave it at that.

Woulard looked shocked when they named him MVP. Of course it took the edge off watching knowing he already won, but I'm happy for him. Go Bulls!!

I think the reason they didn't show AW more was more to keep the drama factor involved and keep viewers on edge to the end. Remember, that's how reality shows lock in viewers. But yes, as a USF fan, I would have like to have seen more of AW in the 1st episode.

Who were the WR's and DB's? Were they all California high school players?

I like how he stated he looked in the eyes on the DB and saw that he was lost so he went right at him on the first touchdown throw.

It was also pretty epic that he was the only guy to get two shots on the two minute drill. Not to mention that the drill was originally set up on the 40 yard line with 50 seconds on the clock. They moved Asiantii back to the 30 yard line and gave him 90 seconds.

They made sure it wasn't going to be a one and done again. A few other guys also had 1st touchdown plays, but weren't considered to come back up.

Actually, he noticed that the DB was flat-footed. I was very impressed with that too. Great pre-snap read!

No shock he knew 15-20 min prior because he saw his name on the papers Mr. Dilfer was holding with MVP next to it. lol

From what little we saw he was impressive indeed. Not surprised ESPN didnt show more of a big east commit that won MVP...
