Don't get the storm up here in bama, any significance to wearing 5 vs. 8?  I'm guessing 8 was already taken?  My son, 7, was walking by after I read he was back playing football and showed him a pic from the trib article and he said, "That's not him.  That guy is wearing #5!"  lol

8 was taken.  He had #5 from when he started playing at 7 yrs old in youth football till his first varsity season in high school.he went to #8 and then his true freashman year at USF #8 was taken ( johnny payton) so he used to be 5 and then 8  so he took 13 for his red shirt year, then Payton left and he got 8 back.  But im guessing he will stick with 5 at pro level  but who knows!!! we will see next year.

I thought Matt looked great.  The starting QB just looked lost out there.  Matt came in and boom, touchdown.  Just like that.

With a week of practice and timing under his belt, he will be even better next week.

Don't think I have ever seen a pump fake, that was a pretty funny play.  The magic of Grothe continues...

they should just make the USF program the feeder program for the Storm.  it is good for marketing and good for attendance.

umm...no thanks id prefer USF be the feeder program to the NFL not some dying league

LOL... You must have the AFL confused with the UFL. The AFL is doing just fine.
