give stan time with the facility upgrades. let him recruit on behalf of a program with some serious commitment to its bball team and see what happens.

NO. Why do all these coaches need more time with improved facilities? Both basketball coaches have one year in my opinion. Make something happen, or GTFO. Over 70 million being spent on basketball this season. They better show pride and act like they actually care to play every now and then.

With what will be considered one of the best Women's Practice facilities in the country,  If Jose can not win more games and have his teams be more then just able to beat the bad and medicare big east teams...he and Stan both need to be gone. And how about hire someone off of Pat's staff at Tennessee for women's basketball. Her former staff members are getting it done every where they are. And for men's basketball...lure a big name mid major coach. I Have no clue who is still out there, but someone will be licking their chops to get this job once the renovations are finished.

You are aware that Jose got us to the NCAAs for the first time ever and won the WNIT? One bad season during a rebuilding phase and your already thinking of canning him?  Sorry, Jose's seat is no where near getting warm, or even close to that of Stan's or Lelo's.  Not to mention you're saying "if he fails in the future, he needs to be fired". Isn't that a given with any coach?

So what will save Heath?

There's nothing to save THIS year. If there's any "hot seat" it will come in 2012-2013 when DW may have to decide, at the end of the year, whether to extend his contract or go a different direction.

I tend to agree with this. We aren't going to buy out Heath during the season he didn't even have a home court.

Also, I found the comment earlier about how Seth showed no loyalty to USF, amusing. Does that poster recall the overall feeling about Seth at that point in time? Most wanted him fired and many felt he did everyone involved a favor by going to Va Tech. Seth definitely brought us more positive PR and "Jungle Karma" than anyone else but that was about it. None of his teams could ever shoot free throws. I do miss watching Kohn jack up 3's from nearly halfcourt.

Yeah, that was kind of an odd way to put that ... You certainly couldn't blame Seth for jumping from here to a Big East team. I was just amazed that his "accomplishments" here got him a gig like that ...

Lets just all be content with being average why don't we. Rebuilding yet he had a top recruiting class not to long ago...what have they done since coming here? Absolutely nothing, our team lacks basic fundamentals, things they should be learning in practice. The "if he fails in the future" statement,  is the same thing our athletic department is saying with Heath and Lelo. So yes you are right, that is with any coach. If Jose keeps having these double loss seasons, what was the point of this renovation. If you can coach you can coach, and winning the oh you have a women's basketball program tournament does nothing when the next years you get worse and worse. Everyone is like oh its a stepping stone blah blah blah. What have we done since? Nada

Lets all congratulate Jose for being in a hot bed for Women's Basketball talent and getting us to the NCAA. He is located in an area loaded with Women's basketball talent. Yet we are lucky to even get looked at for the tournament...Good job coach. Good job.
