hopefully the kid and mother do well.. Sound like he may be a good one to stay home for a year... or attend JC near home.

why do we fall so easily  for these headcases

Let's just hope you don't have a love fall victim to a potentially fatal disease.  One in which the treatment can be embarrassing, gruelling, and extremely debilitating.
