I'm surprised I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but am I the only one that noticed Reshard Cliett seemed to be in on almost every tackle during the Spring Game?  He must have finished with 10 or more.

While 10 is a decent number it does equate to every play.

Thank you for the most literal interpretation I've ever seen.  You've been a big help.

Cliett had five tackles and two pass breakups, according to USF's stats. I thought he looked very quick on his blitzes ...

Thanks Greg!  Although, I swear it was more than five.

He was a track star in HS and has made a nice transition from safety to LB.

According to the game stats, he only had 5 tackles. Surprisingly, Ruben Garcia and Curtis Weatherspoon both had 7 tackles.

Maybe a future Derrick Brooks? This is an old strategy from Jimmy Johnson Hurricane days. Take high school DB's, and turn them into LBers. Take LBers and turn them into DE's. They changed Warren Sapp from a high school TE into a DT. Speed kills.

We will have a great defense again this year.  I wish I could say that I was that confident on the offense.  If our replacements on the O-line gel, we should have another good year with the running game.  Lets hope BJ and our WR corps can get it together this year.
