Maybe a future Derrick Brooks? This is an old strategy from Jimmy Johnson Hurricane days. Take high school DB's, and turn them into LBers. Take LBers and turn them into DE's. They changed Warren Sapp from a high school TE into a DT. Speed kills.

Everyone does that these days.  Hard to harken back to Jimmy Johnson like this is some lost art that Skip just brought in to USF.

he should have done  better

Did you watch the game Smazza?  I would guess by your comments that you did not.  For being a redshirt freshman,  I thought he was very impressive.
