Former Chicago Simeon star Jeremy Jones of Seward County (KS) Community College is one of the hottest junior college recruits in the country currently.

Jones, a 6'2 guard, just wrapped up a visit to the campus of the University of South Florida.  Jones got a chance to spend time with the South Florida coaches and players on his visit, which he described as a good experience that he really liked.

A trio of new schools have jumped into the mix.  “Providence, Miami (FL), and Texas Tech have all jumped into the picture and are recruiting me.  My next visit is going to be Kansas State.  Arizona State, Houston, and Oklahoma State are all still in the mix as well along with South Florida obviously,†said Jones.

Jones also noted that he will think about making a decision after he takes a visit to Arizona State.

But they are still low level BCS basketball schools.
