USF Rugby moves to USA Rugby Division I in Spring 2012 and will compete in South Independent Rugby Conference (SIRC). 

At the moment, other Colleges in this conference are: FSU, UCF, FAU, FIU, Georgia Southern, Kennesaw State, Arkansas State, Life and Middle Tennessee State

Been following you guys coach on your listserve, definitely interesting to watch yall practicing, 7 on 7s etc.  Hopefully you guys play close to Mobile sometime soon again.

USF Rugby will appear in the scheduled SIRC Division I Rugby 7's tournament (7 a side, 7 minutes per half on full size pitch) at FSU (Tallahassee) on September 24.  Date to be confirmed.

10 college teams (2 pools of 5) from SIRC with 3 matches per hour per field (2 fields) - 43 matches over 6 hours with a champion decided in one day.  Champion goes to USA Rugby National Championship in December 2011.

7's is the abbreviated form of Rugby which will make its Olympic Games debut in Rio de Janiero in 2016.

On July 9, 2011 USF Rugby played in a 7's Tournament in Daytona. 

Results:

USF 40 UCF 7

USF 29 FSU 0

USF 7 UF 5
