It concerns me that he hasn't spoken with Holtz before commiting.  Although speaking with Holtz afterwards should only solidify his commitment.

It concerns me that he hasn't spoken with Holtz before commiting.  Although speaking with Holtz afterwards should only solidify his commitment. 

The only thing that might happen is Holtz will tell him his offer is not committable and he'll have to wait.  Otherwise if the coaches want him he's a commit.
