FAU is typically one of the better teams in the state. They have had 12 consecutive winning seasons in a row and also made the Regional tournament 6 times in the last 10 years.

While this is a great win for the USF program and a good win for our team, make no mistake, this isn't the same Miami.  Starting pitcher was on today and really had them off balance.  They only hit a couple balls on the nose all day.  If we are going to bunt, our batters need to get the job done.  I believe we missed 3 opportunities to move runners up a base.  Not good.  Still it was a great time seeing all of those Miami fans filter out of the stadium.

Way to go Bulls, take care of business this weekend!

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
