I believe those were the conceptual plans from a few years ago.  Personally, the plan of combining the baseball and softball structures was a smart one.

Yeah, those are the original concept drawings from about 3-4 years ago.

Here's the original concept for the SunDome, dating back to about the same time.

It really does show you that athletics is taking their time with these facilities to make sure they are done right, and not thrown together quickly (like some other schools).

I like the conceptual design better... look more grand, however beggars can't be choosy.
