Just wanted to get a thread started for the BCS games today. I have already embraced TCU into the Big East.

They look pretty good so far. They run a 5-2 defense, so, the power run game of Wisconsin may pose some issues for them. With a month to prepare, I hope they figured out how to deal with it.

TCU runs base 4-2-5

Wisconsin won't be able to stops TCUs O.

TCU will represent the BE well tonight

You're right, sorry, it didn't feel right when I typed 5-2, but I knew it was only 2 backers and ran with it knowing full well that they didn't have five linemen.

In any event, on that drive, they appeared to stack the box, leaving them vulnerable on the pass. I agree, as long as their offense is clicking, they will be fine, but, I am not sure that they aren't going to get severely worn down by Sconsin by the end of the game.

TCU defense looks a lot like the Buccaneers defense back in the day.. very fast, but undersized, and not a good matchup against power running teams.. they may have problems in the Big East against UConn-like programs

They certainly aren't afraid to throw it deep from time to time.

In other news, Pitt is looking for a new coach again. Fired Haywood.
