Big East can me more selective about the 10th team now that there no pressure from the Big 10 picking off teams.  In other words no need to rush and add UCF If Nova does not move up to FBS

I wouldn't mind the Big East going after Kansas, K-State, and Mizzou.

West:

TCU

Kansas

K-State

Mizzou

Cincinnati

Louisville

East:

USF

West Virginia

Pittsburgh

UConn

Syracuse

Rutgers

That would make a nice conference.

It would also mean the destruction of the Big 12 as well as a likely separation of the BE basketball school.

Stay tuned!

Kansas, KState, and Mizzou coming here could spark another re-alignment if the SEC has any interest in adding A&M, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State to get to 16.  They might do it.  Texas would then go independent, something they've thought about anyways.

Or, if the SEC doesn't go that way, I could see a lot of those teams jumping to the Mountain West Conference with Boise State and taking the Big 12's BCS AQ status with them.

Or the Big 12 to survive would add Boise State, Nevada, and Air Force to replace KU, KState, and Mizzou.  They could also try to get BYU and another team (Colorado State, New Mexico, etc) to get back up to 12.

But if we grab three teams then some more shuffling would happen.  Whatever conference Texas is in, they will expect to dominate.

if we go that big, then i agree that we'll only spark more re-alignment, which could mean poaching of our teams by other conferences.
