Considering going, do they have a decent New Year's scene up there? I'm single and none of my close friends have anything to do with USF, so as much as I can enjoy the game, I wouldn't make the trip back to Tampa in time to celebrate NYE, and I don't want to spend my NYE by myself in some random Charlotte bar. LOL

Not true, Usair has a 550pm flight gets into Tampa at 720pm just in time for NYE, wife woudnt go for it if I couldnt get back....

I guess I should have mentioned I would probably be driving, but I'll check flights to see if the pricing is worth it. Shows about 580 miles one way, I could swing the whole drive on 3-4 tanks of gas, so the plane ticket would have to be ~$150 or less.

Hey guys... does anyone know where the best nightlife in Charlotte is at....Ill probably get a hotel based on that.  

The read the best places for single guys would be the new EpiCenter which is located in the heart of the city on the corner of Trade and College Streets.

Any post are appreciated ..Thanks!

It's uptown... not downtown ;D We(I'm from there so I can claim residency) do things a bit different.  ;D

In and around Epicenter has the most nightlife... uptown isn't large... maybe the size of downtown Tampa. Charlotte is a very spread out suburban city.
