Tell you who also needs a little love is our punt team .... Twice Kann (as the dumbass announcer called him) was punting with heels on the back of the endzone line and he averaged 50 yards there with the return average on those two kicks being -1.5 yards.

Good point.  I thought that was great at the time, but how quickly we forget the punters.  It was great watching Shannon chew out the punt receiver who ran backwards and lost yardage - but did it again later.  Our punt coverage was awesome as well.

And speaking of the second punt, was I the only one lobbying hard to take the safety rather than risk giving up 7 points, of which I proved correct even with the great punt and coverage ....?

IMO, you only take the safety when you're up more than 10 points, and it's late in the 4th. 'Cause kicking from the 25 often leads to a TD anyway.
