Future was webcasting live from it, I watched for a few minutes before the game started. Looked like a small crowd...

Yeah that was alright there wasn't really anything going on so I turned it off when the game started and all they did was play games during commercial breaks the LCD screens in the corners were unwatchable, I went home after the 1st drive to watch on the 50' in HD.

This is exactly what happened a couple of years back when we were #2 playing at Rutgers.

The only displays were the corner which were HORRIBLE to look at.

No party or entertainment at all (think except maybe just some generic advertisement shirts being thrown)

That was a main reason why I wouldnt go

On a side note.. some student group tried to do a watch party last year for the other Rutgers debacle

They basically projected a stream on the side of the building, with NO AUDIO.

No other entertainment.  and it was FREEZING outside.

The only plus side is i won a free raffle for a huge USF fleece throw.  Granted ONLY ABOUT 5 PEOPLE SHOWED UP

Other than that.. not worth it at all

Marketing at USF... SUCKS

Back in 05 they did a watch party for the Pitt game that was only on the very new ESPN360.com. They had screens set up at mid court that were easy enough to see. I think the stream went out a couple times, but other than that (and the score) it was fun. Since they put the video screens in the corner, they always try to put it on those, which sucks to see.

That watch party actually had a great vibe to it (lots of excitement), and on the projection screens, you could actually see a little better. The LCD screens at the Dome aren't the best to show football games.

Why not do it where they play 'Movies on the Lawn'....thinking of a similar setup as Pitt had for the Utah game.

I went to that and had a great time.
