With the rumors that TCU has an offer on the table, BE needs to reach out to Houston, Central Florida and Southern Miss right now! This conference is in need of a splash move to let the world know that they aren't just sitting back, doing nothing. Worry about the 20 teams in Basketball later.

With the rumors that TCU has an offer on the table, BE needs to reach out to Houston, Central Florida and Southern Miss right now! This conference is in need of a splash move to let the world know that they aren't just sitting back, doing nothing. Worry about the 20 teams in Basketball later.

Substitute ECU, Temple, or Memphis for UCF and Southern Miss and I agree with you. Bringing UCF at this point would hurt USF.

Also neither UCF or Southern Miss qualify as a "Splash move". TCU and Houston would be nice additions though.

Try telling the 8 basketball schools to worry about it later.

Maybe we end up inviting 4 bball/fball schools and 4 bball-only schools, like Maine, UMASS, etc?

12 for football, 24 for basketball. The more the merrier, LOL!
