They'd take an 0-12 ND if they could!

Technically the options available are incorrect with only 7 Big East games.  ;)

But I went with 7-5 figuring our loss to Rutgers is worth 3 losses and the Pitt win is worth 3.  So that works out to 4 - 3 in the BE.

(ND will somehow end up 7-5 and get invited to Orlando)

They still have to play Stanford, Pitt, Utah, Boston College, and USC. They could easily lost at least 4 of those 5 and have 6 losses.

Yeah, you're probably right.  If a BE team is 8-4, could Champs still take a 6-6 ND?

No.

By NCAA rules, no 6-6 team can get invited to a bowl if an eligible 7-5 team is still available

In the other thread, someone found a link where a 7-5 ND can only be trumped by a 10-2, 11-1, or 12-0 BE team. If our best non-BCS team is 9-3 or worse, then ND is a lock for Orlando this year (unless they go 6-6 or BCS, that is)

I should had written it better... I meant the entire season... typically we have not had issues with winning OOC games.... the Big East has been our biggest hurdle.

Just some good natured ribbing.  Knew what you meant.  And I'm still going with 7 - 5.

7-5...I know we killed Stoney Brook, and will (hopefully) kill WKU, this team is in for a rough year. Just a lot of depth issues that will wear on through the season

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
