Billreef, how do you know that Josh is tweeting about Marcus?  It could be Kenneth Durden from Lowndes Co. HS in Valdosta.

OK, that's what I did not see (his name).  That's good.  Marcus is a baller.  Glad that he is visiting.

I really like this guys attitude about the whole recruiting nightmare. He seems very measured and confident in his approach. He must be getting some good advice from those around  him.

Marcus to visit USC this weekend

By Phil Kornblut

DB Kadetrix Marcus (6-1 190) of Stone Mountain, GA will make an unofficial visit to USC Saturday for the Arkansas game. This will be his third game at USC this season. Marcus continues to favor the Gamecocks. "It's a real good lead," Marcus said. Tennessee, South Florida and West Virginia are the others on his list and he plans to take official visits to all four after the season. Marcus talked with USC recruiter Lorenzo Ward Friday. "We just talked about my game," he said. "He said they are going to wait on me."

Word is that he is  committing to SC. Man we are losing a lot of the better ones, what is up?

We have enough talent in the back field to last 4+ years easily. It's no wonder a RB would not accept an offer here.

Gamecocks Recruiting: Kadetrix Marcus Says Yes

Written by Flounder

Sunday, 07 November 2010 21:11

The University of South Carolina Football team got its' second commitment over the weekend from a recruit and this time it was a defensive back / safety named Kadetrix Marcus.  The first was OL Kyle Harris.

Marcus is a three-star recruit from Stone Mountain, Georgia that has very good upside.  He must have seen where he could help the secondary after some poor performances of late.  His addition is certainly welcomed as we can all agree help is needed in the defensive backfield.

Kadetrix Marcus (6-0, 182 lbs) runs a 4.6 in the 40 and seems to have good ball skills.  He made a unoffical visit to SC during the Arkansas game, which was his third visit to USC.  Safe to say now that he likes it and USC likes his potential in wearing the garnet and black.

Marcus chose SC over the likes of the Vols, the Canes, South Florida and West Virginia.

Welcome to Gamecock Nation Mr. Marcus.
