I'd much rather see Rutgers or Syracuse go if someone had to.

Losing Pitt would be bad for the Big East! The league should be proactive and try avoiding the raid, and look at expansion as well! I have read reports that Boston College isn't happy in the ACC; we should target them! What other programs should the Big East target?

How aboutTemple; they have a great basketball program, and their football program had a good year. Also they play in a NFL stadium. They are not ideal , but maybe not the worst choice. The geography is not that bad and TCU brings a lot football-wise.

They were once in the Big East and couldn't cut it any more...seems doubtful one decent football year will get them an invite back. Villanova is the easy choice no one's talking about. If they commit to upgrade stadium and facilities, it's an easy move for the Big East to add them for football. It would take some time to move them up, but probably worth it since it wouldn't add another basketball member (which is the biggest issue, really...we're a huge basketball conference and a tiny football conference....WTF?!).I think UCF and ECU are a good choices too.
