Said we will be the future Temple of the Big East. I can't wait to pound them into submission next year. They also said we used dirty recruiting tactics...

They may be enjoying a BCS season this year... but it won't happen again. BCS runs through Tampa from here on out.

Unfourtunately after our performance against them on the field and in the stands it makes sense that they would think that way. Well have to show them wrong in the next few seasons.

I'd have to say that the phrase the "BCS runs through Tampa from here on out" is a bit premature.  Let's try getting into the conference and winning some games first.

hmmmm, lets see...

Pitt comes here as the first BCS team ever to play in Ray Jay, Future conference mates as we enter a BCS conference and looking for revenge over the beating we gave them a few years ago. It's nationally televised and we end up with what? Maybe 100 students showing up, maybe 10K fans and playing like a poor high school team. Yeah, I'd say showing them and the country a complete lack of interest in the team along with horrid action on the field justifies this comparison.

Hopefully we can turn it around but for now what exactly did we do to say we are better then temple?

We aren't in Philly, that alone makes us better then Temple.  If you where ever at Temples campus you would understand the phrase Armpit of the US. It is nasty around that campus.  Campus itself is ok but man you don't want to leave it.

Last time I checked, the all time record against them in football is 1 and 1...they have no room to talk.  Further, I remember Seth's team beat Pitt on the road up there that same year in 2001 and I believe that team of theirs got close to the Final Four.  

Let them talk because that is all they can do.

Well I can't wait til we whoop their a$$ again.  If they wanna compare us to Temple they can go F themselves.  They aren't exactly the cadillac of college football themselves.
