Fanhouse.com reported earlier today that Holtz had agreed to a deal with USF to take over as head football coach. Several reports indicated that a staff meeting at East Carolina and a team meeting later in the day would confirm the deal.Earlier in the day sources close to the Pirate football program say Holtz told the staff that no deal is in place and that it was business as usual. Holtz will be introduced at a press conference at USF tomorrow.
