doubt it.  tennessee is pulling from a completely different candidate pool.

their fans would hit the fan if skip holtz was named HC.

they will most likely get another NFL name...or just take Norm Chow and all the other USC assistants.

i am not too shocked by this.  lane was at USC before he went to oakland.

has pretty good success with that train wreck of a program in tennessee.

plus his dad is part of the package i guess. 

USC didnt really have many other high profile options after OSU's coach re-signed and Jack Del Rio said he was staying in Jacksonville.
