... but in a mere couple of months your fans will have something to be really excited about. the start of the second era in USF football.

i know that there are some pretty low-rent UCF fans on here boasting, but definitely know that many of us remember all too clearly what a coach/scandal/termination feels like.  it's not a good day for anyone (coach, university, fans, players, or anyone surrounding the program). no one wins - everyone loses.

however - not that theJim wasn't a quality coach, but imho a new talented coach might be just what your program needs to take it to the next level.

Thanks for the well wishes, Omni. Many of us are reeling and must compensate with disappointment by lashing out *cough*beastie*cough*, but what you say might very well be true. Whether we will have something to be excited about remains to be seen. It is far too early to be optimistic for most, but its no mystery that many among us considered Leavitt a liability to USF winning championships.

the difference between UCF and USF is that when a USF coach assaults a player he is fired. At UCF a coach killed a player and the university covers it up.

exactly my point.  Obviously missed by others who apparently feel so down about this whole situation that they don't mind fans of a 3rd rate program comparing themselves to ours.
