Schematically, I think NIU is a tough matchup for USF.  I also think our team is very distracted (and divided) right now.  It is also worth mentioning that NIU fans will surely outnumber USF fans.

I agree with Capital H that USF wins going away if they are interested.  But i suspect the focus is not razor sharp these days at USF's practices.

I wont be suprised if USF lost to NIU. I just think USF has not done all that well this year, and NIU is ready to get that bowl win. I really is all up to Daniels as he has to have one of his good games like he did against UL and WVU. If he does that, then I like USF's chances. If he plays like he did against Rutgers then I think USF could easily lose this game.

these predictions are merely a negative reflection of USF`s image as a whole right now.

for any number of reasons (bad press, yearly collapse, etc.) nobody wants to give us any credit right now.

besides, picking NIU as a dark horse upset over USF in the moose bowl is easy.  nobody will really care if the prediction is wrong, but if NIU does upset USF these ***holes will feel like Nostradamus.

Yeah, I wonder what Jesse Palmer's confidence pick would have been different if the Leavitt story broke out sooner. I bet he would not have made USF his top confidence pick. Also, Lou Holtz pick USF to win big for whatever that is worth.
