Also, people seem to forget.  Our original series with UCF was for 5 games.  UCF (and C-USA) agreed to drop the last game because it was to be held in Tampa and there was not going to be a return game.

Did WE want to drop that game?

Its crazy how many knight fans legitimately think that USF chickened out of the St Pete bowl.... Does the UCF fan base have any idea how the bowl system works?

I believe we did.  However, we were originally required to play it as an exit agreement with C-USA.  C-USA and UCF agreed because there would not have been a return game.

I never remember a 5th game being part of the series. It started out as a 2 game series, then went to 4 games when USF went to the Big East.

CUSA said we must play 5 games against CUSA teams as an exit agreement. We agreed to play UCF, then the 5th game was dropped as it would be played at USF.
