if they finish 9-3 I can see why they may not deserve it but I respect the schedule they went through especially compared with the Gators. Their 2 easiest OOC games were arguably Famu and UCF, one being a solid bowl team....they didn't have much time early on to 'work out the kinks' against Charleston Southern like the team up in Gainesville. I wish there was a playoff

usc needs to play up to their potential.  for a team with that body of work and history to get out recruited and beat by washington and stanford is shameful.

true frshman qb

9 new guys on d

2 new coordinators

what exactly was their potential

Actually, if you go to the BCS official website and check the anouncement that the ESPN writer is discussing, Pitt and Cincy are in there. This would just be another example of a member of the media slighting attention towards schools they perceive will make their readers happiest: http://www.bcsfootball.org/cfb/story/10424756/20-teams-remain-under-consideration-for-BCS-slots

Sounds a lot like a UC.

Played with a freshman QB- check

9 new players on D- check

New coordinator- check

How is UC doing? Oh yeah they are undefeated!

And with a lot less talent too.
