Do you think Landi will get a chance?

Give BJ some credit, he is playing behind an offensive line that had to replace pretty much everyone from last year. They are still trying to learn just as much as he is. Also the receivers seem to still be getting used to trying to cath passes from BJ. He has more zip on his throws than Grothe did. Everything will work out sooner or later (i'm hoping sooner). Next year will be sweet though. The receivers should be used to BJ and the line should be pretty good after having a year under their belt together. Go Bulls!

BJ is going to have bad games as he learns.

you pull him now, and the learning process stops, if not regresses.

what would be the point in running ANOTHER RSFr with even LESS game experience at this point?

Landi didn't look all that spectacular in garbage time against Pitt second stringers, i don't see any tangible reason to pull BJ in favor of Landi at this point.

when pigs fly, hell freezes, and I become the pope.  not a knock on Landi, but BJ is the only option.

LOL.  Grothe was the fifth option when we started spring ball his RS Freshman year.  Glad the coaching staff kept a more open mind.

Daniels has great physical tools, but I haven't seen it on the field yet.  He hasn't just had one bad game.  He's had one good half and three and a half unimpressive games outside of a few plays here and there.

I think Carnes will come ... still hoping for the kid in Miami area also.

Not sold on Daniels, but hopeful.

I liked what I saw in Landi in the Spring.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
