Greg Auman - We want RayJay Update Pics of New Field with New USF Paint

Much like the the locals papers covered the assembly of U2's stage last week with pictures, can you get a photographer from your paper out to the stadium and let us know what it looks like with a pictorial of the painting....assume the new sod was rolled out probably on Sunday/Monday??

Greg doesn't go to Ray Jay for anything other than games.

He does his work at USF where the press conf, practices, team, coaches are.

I don't know if Greg/or any media member would have access to something like that prior to pregame on Thursday.

I know one year local tv station took aerial video of usf painted field. Can't block that access. Anybody with a local contact, please put a request in for a video flyover on wednesday!

My wife is on her way to the stadium now.  She doesn't have a camera with her but I'll get a status update.

I know Fox13 was doing a story yesterday on the new sod.  I didnt have the volume on so i couldnt tell what they were saying about it.

They usually tell their traffic helicopter to take a detour along Dale Mabry and direct their cameras into the stadium......no addtional costs involved!

USFishin....assume your wife has a cameraphone? Could email you the pics instantly for posting.

A lot of times they'll just pass over it while they're already out in their chopper.  Doing traffic, or another story.

OK, new grass is down but it doesn't look too good.  She said it looks like a big checkerboard and not like a nice even football field.  Hopefully it does some good growing in the next 2 days!
