USF has had that problem with playing down to their opponent in the past, so I hope things changed with the new coaches on the staff. I hope they teach USF that killer instinct to put these teams away early.

I can't picture Loserville selling out games once the PJCS renovations are complete next year, even though they've been scaled down to 56 thousand from 60k. The Cards haven't won a 1-A game since October 2008. Steve Kragthorpe is at 12-17 as coach and unanimously detested by UofL faithful who see him as the antithesis of Bobby Petrino.

At the Rivals site forums they are listing Tuberville, Strong, Sumlin, and Gill coaching candidates for 2010. On the other hand, there is  THIS

Seriously...if we stay close with some of these teams in the conference, then we have obviously NOT figured it out yet.  

CINCY is our toughest game...period! PITT is only tough cause its on the road.  

But the rest are EXTREMELY winnable.  

If we get past Cincy...then I think we have a great shot for accomplishing our goals...and maybe exceeding them. ;)

first step...BEAT CUSE!!!

UL does have the money to make a splash hire if they want to. The problem is that the AD Jurich has always been good friends with Kragthorpe, so it is delaying the firing process. A lot of alumns are getting fed up with both the AD and the head coach so you are going to see a lot of empty seats until things change.

We better keep our Ray Jay streak of hanging 45+ on Louisville alive this year. And honestly, I almost expected Krags to get canned after the first season when he took them from a top 10 team the year before to not even getting to a bowl game
