BJ's football stats at USF

I was curious, so I compiled his stats for the five games in which I think he played:  UTM and NCSU last year, as well as the first three games this year.  Took the numbers from the posted USF pdf stat files.

Rushing

135 yards and 3 TDs on 18 carries, for 7.5 yards per carry (one fumble lost in his first game).

Passing

16 completions on 20 attempts (80% completion rate) for 265 yards and 2 TDs (no interceptions)

Overall

He has accounted for 400 total yards so far.  He has touched the ball 38 times and has averaged over 10.5 yards per touch.

He's a great talent and I think he's got what it takes.  I feel confident with him at FSU, but he's never faced a lick of competition (apart from practice).

I hope he pulls it together at FSU.  Their pass defense is terrible.

Funny you should add "football" to the thread title.

I wonder if BJ's hoops career is over now? I personally hope that it is, and that he is 100% focused on being a better QB during the entire off season, not missing time/study/weights for hoops.

Just my opinion though.
