No, unless he had an injury his freshman year we don't know about.  In order to get a second redshirt, the first one must be a medical redshirt.  As far as we know, the first RS year was merely the typical Freshman redshirt because he wasn't ready to play.

I'm not gonna even think about it, but because he's played less than. 1/3rd of the season he could apply for med redshirt.

I think this out for the season is waaaay to premature

But a 6th season is only granted if BOTH redshirt years are medical redshirts.  Grothe's first RS year was not a medical RS.
