Matt looks like he has dreads sticking out on the right side of his helmet.

Smazza great jump to conclusions, hope you did not hurt your hernia.

Nice to see us front and center...

by the way, does anyone have an opinion on which helmet they like better?? ;D

I really wanted to see Black Helmets with a Gold U and a Green mask, witht the White stripe down the center.  That would incorporate all of our colors, not match Either of our primary colors, and be available for the Black out we can plan around the White out, and the Breat awareness Pink out..

second, but only if they wear black shoes.

Guest hm101

in my opinion they should only discuss the color of their helmets at media day. nothing else is important.

seriously come on... enough with the **** fashion obsession.

Not that this is the point of this post, but there were a lot of us at the Alabama game and the reason they had less issues with the heat was because they had a second string to put in the game.  We were a young team and our guys were playing twice as long as Bama's without any relief.  We lasted 1.75 quarters in that game and they lasted about 3...and 90% of that was due to depth.

If you get access to the full article it talks about football helmets contributing to heat injury as well as color of light vs dark clothing, etc.. I am not saying that hydration wasn't a factor, but so is clothing and equipment color can effect teams.

I agree that the color of clothing and helmets has an affect, but 'Bama had the darker uni's and helmets in that specific game. We just had no depth and they did, which is why our guys became dehydrated and cramped up so much in the second half.
