I can verify that offensive lineman Tony Kibler from Belle Glade committed on Saturday night. I've been playing phone tag with him in last 24 hours, but should have him on the phone shortly.

Not only was he first team All-state in Class 4-A, but he's also a good student.

Glades Day Coach Pete Walker said Kibler has an outstanding work ethic to go along with physical talent.

“He’s smart, athletic,†Walker said. “He’s got athletic feet and he’s aggressive coming off the football. He’s been offered by Arkansas, USF (South Florida), and Troy. I have a feeling he’s going to get more. He’s great kid. He has a 23 ACT and 2.75 core. He’s just a very well rounded kid.â€

Kilber has transferred in from Okeechobee, who beat Glades Day 49-41 last season. Kibler paved the way for running back Lonnie Pryor, who signed with Florida State.

“He did a great job against us,†Walker said. “Any time he locked on, he was moving our defensive tackles out of the way. They had a great running back and he just needed a little room and he (Kibler) was providing more than a little.â€

thanks  mama    I could not  find  it.  I like this young man alot I also hope we can get that  huge DT from the juco ranks.  anyone  know of a visit line up with him.
