Concerning 2009 season my guess selvey has nine sacks first three games with another five in balance. Ford i see 350 yards first three games with another 500 yards in balance of games.

selvie should have 12 sacks through the first 3 games. at minimum. 

mike ford should get 150 yards each game...or whoever our starting RB is....we need to have someone step up and get the majority of the carries so they can pad the stats against the first 3 powerpuff teams

IF our D-line lives up to its hype,  which will be very hard, they will not allow more than 50 yards combined rushing in the first 3 games.

Ford - 126 total yards

selvie came back for his senior season when he could of went to the NFL.  we owe it to him to let him put up his numbers and get into that top 10 spot

I would say not at the risk of injury... remember, his numbers were down last year because of injury.

exactly and I concur with your predictions based on that and how the coaching staff is mindful of undue risk of key players. They held Selvie out of the spring game based on that and gave Grothe limited snaps and contact.

As for Ford-- who knows.  Over the past 5 years or so, we have run a vanilla offense against the 1-AA squads and committed to a running game for the most part. He might get the carries-- even if he is not #1 on the depth chart. Experience shows that USF tends to spread the work out though.
