My product expires in about 10 days, wondering what the members here use and like.

Thanks.

I use Computer Associates and have had very good experience with it.

Also have PC-cillin at home on my laptop and it is decent too.

As long as you avoid Norton and Macafee, you are in decent shape.

Yeah, I'd like to know why I am just now hearing that Norton sucks...

the main two reasons for Norton, and to a lesser extent, but not by much, mcafee, sucking:

1)  they are resource hogs...

2)  they are hacked by so many virusus/trojans/worms that know how to disable them and prevent them from scanning, or even make them look like they are working even though they aren't.

And try uninstalling Norton... you are guaranteed to get a blue screen of death at some point after it is gone... and maybe before.

Learned that the hard way!

Resource hog indeed, one reason I'm thinking about dumping it.

The reason they suck is the same reason why linux and macs are virus free, nobody codes for them and all the viruses are aimed at Windows running norton or Mcafee.

If you go with a McAfee or Norton (assuming Norton has an online version), go with the online version which they change their code base frequently and make it less likely to be disabled by an intrusion.  I have had zero problems with McAfee online.

As for resource consumption my McAfee consumes less resources than the program that auto updates my blackberry software.
