Gentlemen (and ladies), start your Googles:

Here are the names of individuals who have either officially applied or been recommended for any of the three University of South openings (now down to two). It’s a “who’s who†of coaches and in some cases a “who’s that?â€

I’ll go back and update with who some of these folks are and some names will stand out including a former UCF head coach.

Jarvis Adams, Mike Adams, Corey Anderson, Kent Baer, Randy Ball, Willis Barringer, Greg Barton, Hans Batichon, Dave Bey, Stephen Bird, Kevin Bishop, David Blackwell, Jeff Brady, Jeff Brohm, Hurlie Brown, Terrell Buckley, Gabriel Burks, Craig Candeto, Steve Carson, Corey Chamblin, Joe Cullen

Dan Disch, Dennis Doornbos, Samuel Dorsett, Mike Ekeler, Steven Englehart II, Wallace English, Brian Ferguson, Fred Fimbres, Kevin Grisby, John Gutekunst, Ricky Hunley, Michael Iafrate, Daronte Jones, Ernest Jones, Keith Kelly, Mike Kruczek, Daniel Laughlin, Tony Mayberry, Ron McCrone

Robert Shackleford, Bob Simmons, Terry Sims, David Slaughter, Robb Smith, Reginald Stacill, Rich Stubler, Corey Sullivan, Michael Timpson, Joe Tresey, Marcus Wilder, Donald Wnek, Todd Worly, Philip Zacharias and Stephen Ziogas

Here are some of the applicants/individuals recommended that might be a little more recognizable:

we hire a WR coach due to his NFL Experience, but have Michael Timpson who was really an NFL player that applied, and we could have had Patrick Nix.

I know this is public information and all, but somehow it just doesn't seem right.

If I was a currently employed candidate, I would not appreciate my name being published as having applied.  Especially if I haven't even got an interview.

well he is on the unemployment line so I would guess we could have had him for a decent price.

I've got to agree .... especially since it includes some that didn't even apply but were just recommended and it doesn't differentiate. Just what exactly is the intendedurpose of publicizing something like this .... other than to stir up the gossipy old ladies.  8)

Yeah I agree with you Greg had this information on his blog before Brett but did not want to disclose all the names especially with people getting fired just for interviewing with other schools. Guess Brett didnt care. Its public information so i guess its a free for all if you want to post the names. sure is good to see the interest is there even with CJL being such a meanie to work for :)
