I would recommend it.

I had him for 4 classes. He was def. tough, but thats good.I enjoyed his classes and wish I could have taken his Economics of Sports class my last semester. Unfortunately I was out of scholarship hours and needed to take an exit course. He was no Dr. Loewy, though. His intermediate macro class was the hardest class I took at USF, bar none. When 75% is an A, that's a hard class. And yes, I'm another one. B.A., 2002. ;DI enjoyed Economic Growth the most. I think it summed up a lot of what we study in economics. I think I got out of Loewy's class with a C+ and was satisfied with the knowledge that I wouldn't have to take any more macro classes.

But I wish I had Lowey just for the experience. The professor I had was good, but she made the class pretty easy. I dont remember much from that class anymore. I always thought Porter was the best: "South end of a north bound horse"I had Prof. Porter for International Economics, very difficult class. I think 6 dropped the course and only 10 of us made it through.

"I ought to be embarrassed but I'm not", he really enjoyed being tenured ;DSo I played college and professional sports and have an MS in MIS and my M.A. in Econ is still the hardest thing I ever have done in my life. I graduated the masters program when it was hard. About 20% of the class I came into survived to graduate. Then you had to pass an Oral Exam, with 3 teachers of your choice. That was a ******* Whore Hoppin' Son of *****! Although, it was great to watch all the MBA's come in and try taking the econ classes asking when is there going to be group project!I have to say, other than Dr. Ford and maybe Dr. Green, the staff in the early 90's was great. Although I have heard that Dr. Ford kicked the bottle and has improved. Dude would sit up there and sweat buckets professing the glory of socialism. However, I will say it was hard to find a job with an MS in Econ. Everyone thought you were over qualified or they didn't need an economist. They had no idea what we did.
